Make yarn by hand, then wind it into a skein. Edgar pairs a flower-engraved wooden drop spindle with a beech niddy noddy, two interchangeable centre shafts and 50 g of white wool. The spindle is 28 cm long with an 8.5 cm flower-shaped whorl and a metal hook. The niddy noddy uses one shaft and two cross arms at a time; the second shaft changes its working length. Illustrated instructions and a plain carton are included. Finished yarn in the photographs demonstrates a possible project.
